I don’t think Roseanne should have been fired, and I don’t think Samantha Bee should be fired. Their employees do have the right to fire them if they so desire, so when ABC fired Roseanne, nothing immoral happened, but I think it’s a shame that they did (though it seems ABC made the decision after half the staff quit the show).

My biggest problem with the Roseanne thing is that people are calling it racist. I won’t defend the remark because I thought it was mean, but that’s it. Just mean. Not racist.

I do think there’s a double standard, but two wrongs don’t make a right. I want Bee’s show to go away on its own because nobody watches it, not because people that have never and will never watch her show started complaining.
